SPEEDBOAT TOUR AND MEAL

The speedboat tour and meal package will combine a luxury speedboat tour with a lunch or dinner stop at one of the many lochside hotels and restaurants.

There are more than 15 Loch Lomond eateries to choose from with menus and styles ranging from traditional pub grub to fine dining and some of the many places that we stop to visit can be seen on the map to the right of this webpage.

EXAMPLE TOUR WITH LUNCH @ THE LODGE ON LOCH LOMOND

This tour will start and finish from ‘The Lodge on Loch Lomond’ hotel

The Lodge fronts on to the water’s edge at Luss beach and they have recently installed a new floating pier which means that we can start and finish boat tours directly in front of the restaurant.*

This new pier is very close to our main operating pier at Luss meaning that there will be no charge for empty boat travel time and no charge for waiting time.

As such this meal option can be combined with any of our normal tours but the most popular options would be the ‘60 minute south’ tour at £150 per boat, or alternatively the ‘90 minute north’ tour at £225 per boat [longer tours are also available].

*Departure from ‘The Lodge on Loch Lomond’ is offered exclusively to hotel residents at The Lodge on Loch Lomond hotel and/or persons with a pre-booked table at The Lodge on Loch Lomond restaurant.

EXAMPLE TOUR WITH LUNCH @ INCHMURRIN ISLAND

A warm welcome and a hearty Scottish meal awaits you at Inchmurrin Island.

This tour will start and finish at Luss but we take a slightly different route on the outward/return journey and your boat will wait for you whilst you dine at the island.

Inchmurrin is the largest and perhaps the most famous of Loch Lomond’s Islands and the only way to get here is by boat. The island has been owned by the Scott family for more than 80 years and the island is open 6 days per week from April to October [closed on Tuesdays] with lunch served from 12:30 to 14:30 and dinner served from 19:00 to 21:00.

The minimum booking for this tour would be 2.5hrs with a suggested itinerary as follows:

13:00 to 14:15		LUNCH @ Inchmurrin Island
14:15 to 15:00		Speedboat transfer from Inchmurrin to Luss

* The total time is 2.5 hours and the price is £375 per boat

EXAMPLE TOUR WITH LUNCH @ ARDLUI HOTEL

Traditional Scottish pub food served with a good helping of warm Scottish hospitality

This tour will start and finish at Luss and covers north Loch Lomond in its entirety.

Ardlui is a traditional Scottish country pub which has been owned and operated by the same family for generations. The Squires family of Ardlui are famed for their hospitality and proud to serve up locally sourced game and fare on a traditional Scots menu which includes Loch Lomond salmon and Argyll venison.

After lunch, take some time to visit the bar which has a well-stocked selection of whisky. The minimum booking for this tour would be 3hrs with a suggested itinerary as follows:

* The total time is 3 hours and the price is £450 per boat

Afternoon boat tours are available for 12 months of the year but evening boat tours will also be offered during the summer months.
