There are 3 booking options to water-ski with Loch Lomond Leisure:
More info as follows:
This option is suitable for small groups and individuals:
A water-ski set will last around 30 minutes for each participant. 30 minutes is the total time on boat and typically this would be 5 minutes to prepare equipment and 20 minutes to water-ski.
Water-ski tasters can be purchased to use on a single visit with pricing as follows:
|SINGLE VISIT||Total time on boat||Total price||Group size|
|Water-ski taster x 1||30 minutes x 1||£100||1 maximum|
|Water-ski experience x 1||45 minutes x 1||£125||2 maximum|
|Water-ski session x 1||60 minutes x 1||£150||3 maximum|
Water-ski sets can be purchased in bundles.
A reduced rate is offered for bundles and these sets can be used over multiple visits:
Bundled sets will be valid for 12 months (from the time of purchase).
The maximum group size is 6 persons per boat. (Individuals and small groups may be mixed together).
Your water-ski booking will include boat, instructor and water-ski equipment
A buoyancy aid will be supplied for each participant and must be worn
A wet‐suit is not included but will be available to hire for additional cost of £5 per person
A land lesson is also included for beginners and will take place on the beach before boarding the boat.
This option is Suitable for private bookings and large groups:
A water-ski experience will last for 45 mins, 1, 2 or 3 hours. (Longer sessions are also available).
A water-ski experience is when you book private use of the boat and pay an hourly rate for the boat.
A water-ski experience means that you have the flexibility to try out different activities such as water-ski, wakeboard and ringo.
A water-ski experience will be suitable for small groups who prefer to have a longer booking and to have private/exclusive use of the boat.
A water-ski experience will also be suitable for large groups and multiple boats can be part of the same session and additional activities such as kayak or SUP could also be provided. (A rotation system would be used for large group bookings).
Water-skiing is available from the following locations:
|Luss Pier, Luss, G83 8NZ|
|Luss Beach, next to Luss car park, Luss, G83 8PA|
|Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch, G83 8QL|
|Rowardennan Hotel, Rowardennan, G63 0AR|
On arrival you will be greeted by a staff member from Loch Lomond Leisure and asked to complete some basic paperwork.
Next you will be issued with a wetsuit (optional) and buoyancy aid (compulsory).
After changing there will be a very short walk to the boat and you will be introduced to the water-ski coaching staff who have been trained and licensed by the British Water-ski and Wakeboard Federation (BWSW)
At this point all participants will receive a safety briefing and first timers will be given a quick ‘land lesson’ which makes it easier to communicate the basic techniques.
Taking all of this into consideration we ask participants to arrive on site at 30 minutes prior to pre-booked start time and failure to adhere to these guidelines could result in the loss of some or all of your allocated time-slot.
Water-skiing is available from March to October.
Water-skiing is not available during the winter months.
