Boat
Hire - Loch Lomond - Scotland
Loch Lomond and The
Trossachs National Park
The creation of Scotland’s first
National Park means that Loch Lomond is attracting an
increasing number of visitors. Luss in particular is
the ideal location for a day visit, short trip or weekend
break.
Luss is located on the west shore of Loch
Lomond, just off the A82 road, (see
map for directions).
Rowing Boats and Pedal Boats
Please note that during the 2006 season
Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland will not be operating a
rowing boat and pedal boat hire service, why not consider
a private boat charter instead.

Boat Hire
Our hire boats are built with deep hulls
meaning they are directionally stable, easy to row and
very seaworthy. The floors are designed with an anti-skid
pattern and rainwater is easily dispersed through a
clever self-draining system.
All boats are double skinned and made
from Polyethylene, they are completely unsinkable. The
material used is UV-stabilised and can withstand anything
from arctic cold to tropical heat without weakening.
Scientific tests show that the life of the material
is almost infinite and also it is 100% recyclable.
All persons hiring a boat will be given
a comprehensive safety briefing before any hire commences.
This briefing will include instructions on how to operate
rowing boats or pedal boats as well as outlining certain
rules and safety procedures. The use of life jackets
is compulsory for your increased comfort and safety.
The Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland
safety boat will be clearly visible in red and powered
by a small outboard engine it will patrol the Luss Bay
area and enforce these rules. |
